Learn about the history of Palmetto through the historic buildings. Walk begins at Palmetto Historical Park and includes a stop at the Palmetto Riverside B&B.

About the event
This walk, about 2 hours, will highlight some of the historic buildings in the downtown and riverfront areas. Included is a tour of the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast, a historic Sears and Roebuck home, built by town founder's son, J. A. Lamb. Wear comfortable shoes as we will be taking a leisurelymile walk. This is a free tour, but a ticket is REQUIRED as there are only 20 spaces available. AN HOUR PRIOR to the walking tour, the Palmetto Historical Park and Agricultural Museum will be open for those who wish to explore. If the tour is full, you are welcome to sign up on the waiting list and we will contact you if a space opens up.
