What's the Cardboard Challenge?

At this FREE hands-on event, families will work together to design and build various creations out of cardboard, recycled materials, and imagination! Building prompts will be posted throughout Palmetto Historical Park and the Ag Museum to help drive your imagination. This event fosters creativity, ingenuity, resourcefulness, and cooperation as families engage in creative play together.

All materials are provided. No reservations are required for this drop-in event.

How did the Cardboard Challenge begin?

The Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual initiative of Imagination.org. Inspired by the short film, 'Caine's Arcade', the Cardboard Challenge is a worldwide celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it.

We encourage you to watch the original short film on YouTube to see the inspiration for this event!
