Join the Ag Museum for this FREE, hands-on event all about our feathery friends!

 

Families will play and learn together while they make crafts, play games, eat snacks, read a story, try an egg-speriment, do an educational outdoor egg hunt, and meet some live chickens!

Make it a family-friendly double feature and catch Backyard Bug Explorers, the event hosted by our sister site, Palmetto Historical Park, on the SAME DAY from noon to 2 PM! Both events are FREE and do not require registration.

This event is made possible in partnership with Soar in 4 and is a part of Suncoast Remake Learning Days, presented by the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and The Patterson Foundation. Suncoast Remake Learning Days is a 15-day festival of free, hands-on learning events for children and families from Saturday, April 19 through Saturday, May 3, 2025 in Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.
