Join the Ag Museum on Saturday, May 2nd from 11 AM to 2 PM to get a taste of the farm life! Try your hand at farm chores, including feeding live animals, scouting for 'bugs' on crops, and planting real seeds to take home. Explore our hay stack search, make crafts, taste test produce, and more at this FREE family-friendly event! No registration required.
Farmer for a Day is a part of Suncoast Remake Learning Days, a 15-day festival of FREE, hands-on learning events for children and families presented by the Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and The Patterson Foundation. Suncoast Remake Learning Days runs from Saturday, April 18th through Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 in Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. See ALL participating events here.
