About the event
On Wednesdays in July, the Manatee County Agricultural Museum is bringing back “Make It Take It!” This FREE programming series is geared towards families with pre-K and elementary age children, though all are welcome to attend. Registered families will wander the Ag Museum completing crafts, games, and other hands-on learning activities at their own pace.
This year’s theme of “By Golly, It’s By-Products!” will help families discover how pigs, trees, sheep, and cows give us by-products, or secondary products made during the manufacturing of a main product. We use agricultural by-products every day without even realizing it!
REGISTRATION REQUIRED! Reserve one ticket for EVERY member of your party (from babies to grandparents) for a 1.5 hour experience. Two identical sessions are available each day at 9:30 AM - 11 AM OR 11:30 AM - 1 PM.
Space is limited. Reservations open two weeks prior to each event date.
