About the event

This roughly 2-hour walk will highlight some of the historic buildings in the downtown Palmetto and Manatee River riverfront areas. Included is a tour of the Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast, a historic Sears and Roebuck home that was built by J. A. Lamb, son of Palmetto town founder, Samuel Sparks Lamb. Wear comfortable shoes, as we will be taking a leisurely mile walk.

This is a free tour, but RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED, as there are only 20 spaces available. All seven buildings of Palmetto Historical Park and the Agricultural Museum will be open for self-guided exploration A HALF HOUR PRIOR to the walking tour, starting at 12:30 PM.

If the tour is full, you are welcome to sign up for the waiting list, and we will contact you if a space opens up. Please contact agriculturalmuseum@manateeclerk.com or call 941-721-2034 with additional questions.
