On Wednesdays in July, the Manatee County Agricultural Museum is bringing back “Make It Take It!”
What is Make It Take It?
This FREE programming series is geared towards families with pre-K and elementary age children, though all are welcome to attend. Stations are set up throughout the Ag Museum with crafts, games, and other hands-on learning activities. Registered* families will wander the museum completing stations at their own pace.
Join us on Wednesdays in July to discover how agriculture is everywhere!
This year’s theme of “By Golly, It’s By-Products!” will help families discover how pigs, trees, sheep, and cows give us by-products, or secondary products made during the manufacturing of a main product. We use agricultural by-products every day without even realizing it! It's the perfect opportunity for children to learn about agriculture and spend quality time with the adults in their lives.
*Registration is FREE but required. Registration opens 2 weeks prior to each date. Space is limited. Children may not be left unattended.
*NOTE- Reserve one ticket for EVERY member of your party (from babies to grandparents) for a 1.5 hour session. Two identical sessions available each day at 9:30 AM - 11 AM OR 11:30 AM - 1 PM.
