Fun with Ag Bags

If you are a parent or grandparent looking for fun learning activities to do with your children, we would like to help you out! The Ag Museum has assembled “Fun with AG Bags.” They are great for having some quality time with your kids!

This is a FREE resource, though donations are always accepted with a smile! 40 bags in each theme will be available each week. Families may order 2 bags total each week. Reservations close Wednesday at Noon before pick up on Thursday to ensure that staff are able prepare the materials.

Themes of the bags include:

Planting: The bag contains all your child needs for starting a mini veggie and flower garden – coneflowers, cantaloupe, green beans, and radishes! Help them learn the joy of growing their own nutritious food.

Butterflies: The bag contains learning materials about the butterfly’s life cycle as well as some craft projects. If you have a pollinator lover, this is the bag for them!

Dairy Cows: The bag contains learning materials about cows, instructions on how to make butter, and some fun craft projects. Who doesn’t love a cow?

Trees: They surround us, but how much do your children know about them? Creative projects and learning activities all about these shade-givers and homes for wildlife.

The bags will be distributed through the Museum’s back door at 1015 6th St. West, Palmetto - directly across the street from the Sutton Park restrooms.

They will be available the weeks of June 22nd, June 29th, August 3rd, and August 10th.
