Participate in a guided tour of a historic house on the Palmetto riverfront. Built circa 1899 by the son of Palmetto's founder, J. A. Lamb, this house was later purchased in the 1920s by John Pope Harllee of the “Tomato Harllees.” Beautifully restored by the current homeowners, their gracious tour allows you a look inside one of Palmetto’s most beautiful historic homes. Visitors may ONLY register for ONE of our two special tours due to limited space—EITHER this Historic House Tour OR the Walking Tour of Palmetto. Additionally, if you have enjoyed this tour in years past, we encourage you to refrain from registering to allow others to enjoy this unique, annual opportunity. Thank you.
